Madden NFL 23 will come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at some point after launch

We know Ultimate Team is set to make a return for this year’s Madden outing, as well as Franchise mode, and the new Fieldsense system which was revealed in the gameplay trailer. Can’t wait to collect your favourite players and craft them into the craziest team you’ve ever seen and conquer the online world? Well, there’s no need to pay for the NFL game if Madden 23 is coming to Game Pass at launch, of course.
The news comes via GameSpot, who had received confirmation from an EA spokesperson that the game's previous Game Pass advertisement was in fact a mistake. Previously, a banner appeared on the Xbox website which advertised the game as being included in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription.
It's possible the ad is referring to the fact that Madden NFL 23 will come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at some point after launch. An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription gives fans access to all the titles available through EA Play, and some months after launch, that inevitably includes EA's annual sports titles. However, one would think that the language in the ad would be different if that were the case.
